- Remember, Lab Section 9 students need to attend lab on Friday (if possible, based on your schedule), or during one of the other sections. Please talk to Professor Kempton regarding what day and time you should attend lab this week.
- All other lab students must attend lab on their scheduled day and time.
Some good ways to study for the Exam:
- Print out blank copies of all worksheets and assignments (ICA, HW, Quizzes) and try them again. Give yourself some time and pretend it's the exam. Look at the answer keys only after you have finished.
- Look at the homework assignments from the textbook. In most cases, each even-numbered problem is paired with a similar odd-numbered problem. Do the odd-numbered problems that are paired with the even-numbered problems that were assigned as homework. The answers for the odd-numbered problems are in the book.
- Make a sheet of "important stuff." This should be a compact summary of the topics, concepts, formulas, etc, that we have covered. One page for each chapter is good. One page overall is better.

Exam 2 covers Chapters 5-8
- List of important stuff for Friday's exam. I went through the book and typed out some of the concepts that you should be familiar with for Exam 2. - Here are some problems from the book that would be good to review before the exam. If you need to choose between the important stuff list and these problems, choose these problems for your test preparation. Also, make sure you have figured out how to get correct answers and show your work properly for all previous assignments, including Exam 1, in-class activities, homework, and quizzes. The following lists of problems is not an assignment and need not be turned in.
